For Art & Culture Lovers - The medieval hill towns of Assisi, Perugia, and Gubbio, as well as Cortona are only 40 km (30 mi) away; Arezzo, Siena and Florence in Tuscany are just a 45 – 90 minute drive;

For Wine Lovers- The famous Gritti Family Vineyard  offers a very popular vineyard tour, dinner  and wine tasting in the Niccone Valley (at 20km) in Comune of Umbertide, Umbria. The world renowned wine trails of Montefalco in Torgiano where you can visit the Lungarotti Wine Cellars; and the prestigious Brunello wineries of Montalcino in Tuscany are just a 1 hour drive. You may book your visit in advance from home.

For Music Lovers – The Spoleto Classical Music Festival of the Due Mondi and the Umbria Jazz Festivals in July and the Preggio Chamber Music Festival in August.

For Sports Lovers - an 18 hole golf course at Antognolla Golf Club (5km), Fly fishing (Tiber River 14km), tennis, mountain climbing, trekking, horseback riding (2km); and water recreation ( Lago Trasimeno 25km).

Year round antique markets of Perugia , Citta di Castello and Arezzo top off the cultural experiences waiting for you.  And, our very own market in Umbertide is a perfect place to get a 'taste' for local culture every Wednesday.
